DAY 1
Arrival in Bucharest. Transfer to an elegant 4* Hotel in the center of the city. Accommodation. Special dinner where you can enjoy traditional food and some traditions of Valachia.
DAY 2
Departure to the Carpathian mountains after breakfast. On the way we will visit the Peles Castle in Sinaia (the summer-residence of the kings, at the foot of the Carpathians - the most beautiful of Eastern Europe. Arrival in Brasov at noon. Lunch at a special restaurant in Poiana Brasov. Visit to the Rasnov Fortress. Departure to Sighisoara - the best preserved citadel in Romania. Accommodation in the heart of the citadel at a medieval 3* Hotel. Romantic medieval dinner.
DAY 3
After breakfast, visit to the Sighisoara Citadel. Departure north to Bistrita. On the way, sightseeing of Tg. Mures. Visit to the Culture Palace (art nouveau building) in the city. Lunch in Bistrita - Saxon city in the north of Transylvania. In the afternoon we see how Dracula celebrated his wedding and go on the Borgo Gorges to the Dracula Motel. A very special evening just for you two and... DRACULA. On the way to this motel your eyes and hearts will be fascinated by the wonderful landscapes of Transylvania.
DAY 4
The monasteries - painted monuments, included by UNESCO among the masterpieces of the world art. After breakfast, we visit some of the famous Moldavian monasteries like: Moldovita, Sucevita, Voronet. Lunch on the way. Arrival in Campulung Moldovenesc. Accommodation at a 3* Hotel. Dinner.
DAY 5
After breakfast, departure back to Transylvania on Bistrita Valley and through the Bicaz Gorges. Very scenic drive! Lunch at “Red Lake”. Visit of Prejmer - a Saxon fortied church. Arrival in Brasov in the afternoon. Accommodation at a 4* Hotel. Special dinner with show (Romanian or classical).
DAY 6
After breakfast, sightseeing of Brasov. Departure to Bucharest. On the way we visit the Bran castle. Lunch in Sinaia. Arrival in Bucharest. Accommodation in a stylish 4* Hotel. Dinner.
DAY 7 One day in Bucharest
After breakfast, you can have a city tour, enjoy shopping in the Shopping Center nearby, or you can choose a cultural day: visit the Palace of Parliament (former Palace of Socialism during Ceausescu’s dictatorship - second biggest building in the world after the Pentagon), the Patriarchal church, Village Museum etc. It’s really up to you. After all it is your honey-week! Lunch and dinner can be arranged in typical restaurants, classical or special ones (Dracula, Roman style etc). Overnight at the same 4* Hotel.
DAY 8 Transfer to the airport
