Transilvania Tour
Transylvania lies in the centre of Romania, surrounded by the Carpathian Mountains.

Throughout history, Transylvania’s territory has been inhabited by Romanians along Hungarians, Germans, Szeklers, Armenians etc.You will see a mixture of cultures and take with you a lot of memories.

DAY 1
Arrival in Bucharest. Dinner and accommodation in a 4* Hotel.

DAY 2 Sightseeing Sibiu

After breakfast, departure to Sibiu. On the way, visit to Curtea de Arges - the monastery (one of the most precious treasures of Romanian medieval art and architecture) and the Old Princely Court. If time allows we can also visit Cozia Monastery. Accommodation in an elegant 3* Hotel in the center of Sibiu. Sightseeing of Sibiu - one of the famous Saxon’s Transylvanian old Cities. Nice classic dinner.

DAY 3 On the way to Cluj
After breakfast, departure to Cluj. On the way visit the most important glass icon museum of Transylvania - in Sibiel. Visiting Alba Iulia, the town of the proclamation of Romania\\\'s unification. Arrival in Cluj. Accommodation in an elegant 3* Hotel in the heart of the city. Sightseeing of Cluj - one of the most important cultural centers of Romania and one of the medieval capitals of Transylvania. Specic Transylvanian dinner.

DAY 4 Experience Maramures

After breakfast, departure to Maramures - the most interesting site of Romania. On Sundays, people wear traditional costumes. Visit famous wooden churches, the Merry Cemetery of Sapanta. Opportunity to see the inside parts of peasants’ homes, peasants’ artworks (sculpted wooden gates), carpet workshops. Accommodation at a local family’s house on Iza Valley. Dinner.

DAY 5 Experience Transylvania

After breakfast, departure to Tirgu Mures, the “capital” of the Hungarian Minority of Romania. Stop over in Bistrita - a Saxon medieval city in the north of Transylvania. Heading south, a drive through the Hungarian and Szeklers’ villages - nice wooden - made gates (totally different from the ones found in Maramures). Sightseeing of Tg. Mures. Visit of the Palace of Culture (Art Nouveau building). Departure to Sighisoara - the best preserved citadel of Transylvania. Accommodation in an old-stylish 3* Hotel in the heart of the citadel. Sightseeing of the citadel. Medieval dinner at Dracula’s House restaurant.

DAY 6 Experience more of Transylvania
After breakfast, drive to the old Saxons region. Visit of some of the old Saxons’ villages and famous medieval church fortresses: Biertan - the old bishop residence and Prejmer Citadel. Arrival in Brasov once the richest and the most important city of Transylvania. Accommodation in a 4* Hotel in the center of the city. Sightseeing of Brasov. Visit of the museum of the rst Romanian school. Special dinner with folkloric show and wine tasting.

DAY 7 Visit of Dracula Castle and Peles Castle

After breakfast, departure to Bucharest. On the way, visit of the Dracula Castle located in Bran (20 km away from Brasov). Stop over in Sinaia and visit of the Peles Castle - former summer residence of the King’s family in Romania (built in 1875 and the most beautiful in the S-E of Europe). Arrival in Bucharest; accommodation at a 4* Hotel and nice dinner.

DAY 8 Sightseeing Bucharest

After breakfast, city tour of Bucharest. Visit of the Palace of Parliament (former Palace of Socialism during Ceausescu’s dictatorship - second biggest building in the world after the Pentagon), Patriarchal Church, Village Museum etc. Departure back home in the afternoon.
