With its rich folkloric heritage, picturesque villages and wonderful scenery, Romania is fascinating to explore.

This tour discovers the highlights including Transylvania\\\'s mighty fortified Saxon churches, Bucovina\\\'s exquisite painted monasteries, Maramures with its wooden gates and churches, dramatic castles and palaces and beautiful medieval towns.Throughout this tour you will see villages like those of the 19th century and also modern cities with impresive buildings. You will find here a mixture of cultures: Romanian, Saxon, Hungarian, Szekler, Armenian and Jewish, all of them get along with each other very well. You will have the experience of your lifetime, because we are the only Latin people, which is Orthodox and the only Orthodox people which is Latin.

DAY 1
Arrival in Bucharest. Accommodation in a 4* Hotel. If time allowss, walking tour of the old town. Dinner.

DAY 2 Visit of Sibiu

After breakfast, departure to Sibiu. On the way, visit of Curtea de Arges - the monastery (one of the most precious treasures of Romanian medieval art and architecture) and the Old Princely Court and if time allows visit of the Cozia Monastery. Accommodation in an elegant 3 * Hotel in the center of the old city. Sightseeing of Sibiu - one of the famous Saxon Transylvanian old cities. Nice classic dinner.

DAY 3 Visit of Cluj
After breakfast, departure to Cluj. On the way visit to the only glass icon museum of Transylvania - in Sibiel. Visit of Alba Iulia, the town of the proclamation of our country\\\'s unification. Arrival in Cluj. Accommodation at an elegant 4* Hotel in the heart of the city. Sightseeing of Cluj - one of the most important cultural centers of Romania and one of the medieval capitals of Transylvania. Specic Transilvanian dinner near Cluj.

DAY 4 Explore Maramures
After breakfast, departure to Maramures - the most interesting site of Romania. On Sundays, people wear traditional costumes. Visit of famous wooden churches, the Merry Cemetery of Sapanta. Opportunity to see the inside of peasant homes, peasant art works (sculpted wooden gates), carpet workshops. Arrival in the evening at Borsa - a nice resort in the mountains. Accommodation at a 2*+ Hotel, the best around. Dinner.

DAY 5 Visit of the Moldavian monasteries
The monasteries are painted monuments included by UNESCO among the masterpieces of world art. After breakfast, departure to Moldavia through Prislop Gorges. Visit of some of the famous Moldavian monasteries: Moldovita, Sucevita, Voronet. Arrival in the evening at Bucovina. Accommodation at a 4* Hotel. Dinner.

DAY 6 back to Transylvania
After breakfast, departure back to Transylvania through the Bicaz Gorges. Very scenic drive! Lunch break at “Red Lake”. Arrival in the afternoon in Sighisoara - the best preserved medieval citadel of Romania. Accommodation in the heart of the citadel at a medieval 3* Hotel. Visit of the citadel. Medieval dinner at Dracula’s House Restaurant.

DAY 7
After breakfast, departure to Brasov. On the way to Brasov visit of Bran Castle (known as Dracula Castle, 20 km away from Brasov). Visit of the Rasnov Fortress. Lunch break. Arrival in Brasov. Accommodation in a 4* Hotel in the center of the city. Shopping time. Special dinner with a show at one of the restaurants in Brasov.

DAY 8 Visit of Brasov
After breakfast, visit of Brasov. Departure by noon to Sinaia. Lunch break in Sinaia. Visit of the Peles Castle - former summer residence of the King’s family in Romania (built in 1875 and the most beautiful in the S-E of Europe). Arrival in Bucharest. Accommodation at a 4* Hotel in the center of the city. Dinner.

DAY 9 City tour of Bucharest

After breakfast, city tour of Bucharest; visit of the Palace of Parliament (former Palace of Socialism during Ceausescu’s dictatorship - second biggest building worldwide after the Pentagon), the Patriarchal church, Village Museum etc. In the afternoon, departure back home.
