Bucharest - once called Little Paris
Let’s visit Little Paris and its surroundings!

One can find a lot of information about Bucharest on different sites or documentations. On this trip we want to  convince you that even though Bucharest is no longer the nice architectural city it used to be 20 years ago, (before Ceausescu destroyed a major part of the old city), you can still have a good time in Bucharest, and see beautiful things.

We offer an extended program but each client can choose how many days he will stay and what he will visit during these days.

Hint: you should come from the end of April till the beginning of June (to avoid the heat) or from September till mid October (to avoid the rainy period).

DAY 1 Arrival in Bucharest
Arrival in Bucharest. Accommodation in a 4* Hotel downtown. Dinner.

DAY 2 Let\'s go around
You could have a city tour to accommodate yourself with the city. The tour will take about 3 hours, will be done by car with a stopover at the today\'s Palace of Parliament (former Palace of Socialism - the second biggest building in the world after the Pentagon) joined by a local guide. You will also have a meeting with our agent to give you a map and have a chat about what to see and where to go in Bucharest (don"t forget specific meals and Restaurants !!). A suggestion: go to a jazz Club. It is really fantastic!!

DAY 3 First day
You should visit the Cotroceni Palace ( you need a reservation, it takes about 1 hour) and the Botanical Gardens nearby. You could spend the afternoon walking around the town and doing some shopping or enjoying life after 6.00 PM on Lipscani street. In the evening why don’t you try to see a Romanian play at a theatre?

DAY 4 Second day
The National Art Museum could be a good choice, in the old King’s Palace, or the Art Gallery (former private one) on the Victoria Avenue. In the afternoon you could go to the Village Museum and Peasant Museum. In the evening you should attend a Romanian Opera.

DAY 5 Third day. Let’s see some history...
First option: The National History Museum on the Victoria Avenue. You could either visit the treasure room (45 minutes) or the entire museum (about 3-4 hours). Second option: Bucharest History Museum in the University square, downtown. Third option: Combine the rst two options. Evening: A show at the Opereta!

DAY 6 Let’s go around Bucharest
You can visit Mogosoaia Palace (20 km) one of the best preserved Brancoveanu style palaces in Romania. Or maybe Cernica Monastery, or Pasarea? Obviously on this day you need us to rent a car and take a guide. In the evening: You should try a movie or maybe again the Opera.

DAY 7 Let’s go further
Let’s take a small tour. Go and see Sinaia with its monastery and famous Peles Castle (former residence of the Hohenzollern Kings), in the afternoon go to Brasov in Transylvania, see the Dracula Castle near Brasov (if time permits) and come back late in the afternoon. In the evening: Stay home, you are tired and tomorrow you y back early!
